I've always loved drawing and painting. I remember in elementary school being sent out in the hall with my desk having been caught drawing instead of paying attention. So it was natural for me to pursue a career as an illustrator. I’m thankful that I have been able to make a living doing what I love.
I'm a graduate of Carnegie- Mellon University, where I majored in Illustration. Just two years out of school, I found my dream job as a staff Illustrator at Eucalyptus Tree Studio, in Baltimore Md. At Eucalyptus I learned the value of versatility. Since then, I've been a freelancer.
I may be found working part of the day sketching on paper, doing an intricate scratch board illustration, working with bold vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator, Airbrushing in Photoshop, or painting a pastel in Corel Painter. Working in different techniques keeps me fresh, and excited about my work. I've also found it an advantage to be able to work in the technique that best fits the project.
If I can be of assistance in your next project, please give me a call. For more examples
of my work, check out previous editions of the Directory of Illustration or visit my web site:
