Hilary Schenker an independent artist, animator, and designer, and the owner of Green Comma Media. For over eight years, she has created custom illustrations and animation for clients including CMU CREATE Lab, Service Employees International Union (SEIU), The Pittsburgh Children's Museum, Education Voters PA and others. She is the illustrator of Same Sun Here, published by Random House and a winner of the Nautilus Book Award and Parents’ Choice Gold. She is inspired by female cardinals, ghost signs, motherhood, protest posters, and the first beautiful day of spring.
