From a very young age, I have always been fascinated by the technical aspects of things. I believe the
subtle details are what truly make the difference between something good versus something great. This
philosophy has not only guided my entire life, but it is most demonstrated within my art career. Every
project I embark on, whether simple or complex, encompasses this philosophy. I take the critical time
upfront to study and research techniques so that I am poised to create from a place of excellence in
achieving the optimal outcome for my clients. I create with the mindset that great design takes planning,
practice and refinement. I’ve demonstrated that consistently throughout my career. I’ve schooled under
some of the greatest artists in the world including, Mark Fredrickson, Jürek, David Kimble, etc. Learning
David Kimble’s technique was influential in fine-tuning my craft. He gave me the confidence, patience
and appreciation for the finer details and not taking shortcuts within the creative process. A quote I once
saw articulates this perfectly “quality takes just a little longer”. I strive for that in each and every design I
create knowing that the end result will produce high-end illustrations and tangible results for the
organizations and clients I best serve.
