Hello! My name is Allyson Wilson, I am a freelance illustrator and designer, specializing in greeting card design, home décor, stationary, and children’s books. I also work as a contract graphic designer.
I grew up in an art-centric household, so creativity has always been a part of my life. I graduated college with a dual degree in Graphic Design and Business. I worked as a graphic designer for eleven years at a nursing organization, until, in 2020, I began digital illustration. That hobby turned into a passion, which has led me to work with companies such as Trader Joes, Barnes and Noble, Highlights, Scholastic, Fun Folks, Designer Greetings, and more. Notably, I just completed the second book in the Luna Muna children’s books series, which is set to have a third book released in 2024. I am also currently represented by Astound US art agency.
I find that meeting other creatives is such an important part of my mental health, because sometimes being an artist feels like you are living and working on an island. I find when I meet other artists, I feel refreshed, inspired, and validated.
