Wall-to-Wall Studios Inc. was founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1992 by a graphic designer (Bernard Uy) and artist/illustrator (James Nesbitt). The goal was to integrate a multi-disiplinary approach to produce memorable, effective, beautiful, progressive (sometimes humorous) design and fine art work. Or to go out of business trying. Projects have included promotional material designed for various arts organizations and institutions, corporations, high-tech (and low-tech) companies, Pittsburgh restaurants, entrepreneurs and lots of relatives. Assignments take the form of corporate identity, branding, print collateral, advertising, marketing, illustration and multi-media / Web site development. W|W's 10-person office is currently located in Pittsburgh's colorful Strip District within the delivery radius of many fine sandwich shops and ethnic take-out restaurants.
