Sherri
Thompson is an illustrator and portrait
artist working in Pittsburgh. She specializes
in
watercolor and graphite, and her work is
known for its intricacy and attention to
detail.
Sherri
graduated from Syracuse University’s
Visual Communications program with a BFA
in Illustration. She worked as an Art Director
at several major advertising agencies before
starting her own freelance business in 1990.
Since then, her clients have included the
Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium, Stouffer’s,
GBL Advertising, Magee Woman’s Hospital,
Benedum Center, Parker/Hunter, Foodland,
Robert Wholey Co. and numerous private commissions.
Sherri’s
work has been accepted into the New York
Society of Illustrators Annual and has been
included in several gallery and museum shows
in Pittsburgh and Syracuse. She is a member
of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators
and the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society.
