Kathy Rooney creates her computer illustrations depicting cityscapes and architectural landmarks in a somewhat nostalgic yet contemporary manner. A product of Kathy's unique and colorful digital illustrative style resulted in a 62 ft. x 13 ft. mural for The Pittsburgh Steelers Headquarters building. The detailed mural depicts the Pittsburgh skyline looking gloriously interspersed with visuals of golden moments in Steeler history. After the artwork was completed (aided by Kathy's flexible digital editing and art approval process), the mural was printed on vinyl and installed on site in less than one day. Kathy's illustration style is the birth of a symbiotic marriage...a merging of equally regarded dual roles as illustrator and corporate art director. Her broad-spectrum computer graphic experience includes digital illustration, graphic design, electronic pre-press, and project management.
