After graduating from AIP John was a Designer and Art Director. Then he returned to his first love – illustration. He uses old master's technique of multiple colored glazes over a monochromatic painting. All of John's images are well researched. John has been published in many picture books including; King Snake (by Wendy Slotboom, 1997), Forks and Chopsticks (by Patricia Lauber) and Z is for Zombie (a Halloween ABC by Merrily Kutner).
