A
Free-Lance Artist and Illustrator whose
style is referred to as Expressionist, Patty
Lipinski has pursued painting with persistence
and passion since the age of 12. Family, Religion
and
Community values have helped identify the many
facets of her focus to pursuing a gift of art.
She can be found in parts of the
City of Pittsburgh with a small Black Sketch
Book capturing moments of creativity in peoples’ lives.
Detail-oriented,
a flair for color and design earned her a
place in the class in Interior
Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Also versatile with additional instruction
in Chinese Brush Painting at the University
of Pittsburgh and Portrait/Illustration Study
under the direction of Jean Johnston and Don
Sullivan at the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh
Museum Classes.
Experimental
in media. Primary application is Watercolor,
Pastel
Oil, Pen and Ink. Sometimes combining mediums
such as coffee for a monotone painting to window
logo design with appropriate glass paint to
enable a broader creativity base to satisfy
client requests. As an Expressionist it is
important element to this style
to relay the feelings of the event and time
in the illustration. It is of the utmost importance
to become one in association with the elements
to be conveyed in each and every painting or
client’s wish!
Continuing
in the pursuit of community development,
Patty also shares her talents as a children's
face painter
during the annual Christmas Holiday Party at
the Renaissance Hotel. What warmth
and
joy to share
one's
gift of art with children during a wonderful
time of year!
