Judith Lauso is a native of Pittsburgh, PA . She presently works from her studio doing Illustrative and various art-related pieces. Early in her career she worked full-time in the layout department at a local newspaper. For the past ten years, Judith, on a part-time basis, has instructed art classes, conducted workshops, and given demonstrations on her approach to art concepts through watercolor, acrylic rendering, charcoal, graphite, and colored pencil. In addition, Judith has taught classes for CCAC art programs, the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh and art-enrichment classes at local elementary schools. Within the last two years, Judith has become affiliated with the Western PA Society of Children’s Book Illustrators while seeing her first printing of a children’s book completed.
