Cheryl Johnson's earliest training was with Mr. Fitzpatrick and the Tam O Shanter art classes held at the Carnegie Museum in Oakland. She has an associates degree in Commercial art and design, which led to her solo show at Studio Z Gallery in February of 1999. Since then, she's done murals, photography and worked at several Pittsburgh Theaters in their paint shops.

Cheryl works with acrylic, watercolor and pencil. She lives in West Homestead PA, with her three children. She is currently working on a children's picture book.
