David
Fielding began his working life as an English
teacher, with a Bachelor of Education degree
from the University of London, England. Once
in teaching, he gravitated more and more
towards the creative arts, which he had always
loved. There came a time when he published
a set of text books through a publisher in
England, and he did half of the illustrations.
From then on his art waxed and his teaching
waned. He set himself to learn through studying
books and the work of others.
When
he married and moved to the United States
in 1995, he began working full time as an
illustrator and writer. He has always liked
the traditional media best, but clients’ requirements
led him also to learn Photoshop, Illustrator,
Flash, Dreamweaver, After Effects and also
to do some 3D work.
