Molly
Feuer's interest in both art and science led
her to pursue a career in medical illustration.
She graduated from the Rochester Institute of
Technology's Medical Illustration program in
2004 and immediately went on to work for The
Ohio State University Medical Center. There she
created informative illustrations for medical
journals, educational software, Web sites, text
books and continuing medical education materials.
Her works include everything from basic anatomy
to cutting edge robotic surgical techniques.
She
continues to work directly with surgeons
and other health professionals to create
effective educational artwork for a wide
range of applications.
Amidst
her affinity for precision, she never lost
sight of her roots as a quirky animal illustrator,
creating hundreds of off-beat characters
for herself, friends, family and soon for
publication.
She
moved to Pittsburgh in 2008 to expand her
freelance career as a professional medical
illustrator and part-time nut.
Her
areas of expertise include vector line art,
digital painting, pen & ink and graphite.
