Brewer Biography Contact Artist

This Connecticut native saw his characters first printed in his hometown shoreline newspaper at the sure age of fifteen. Mark Brewer worked as an inker for Archie Comics, Warner Brother's Comics and Disney.

And now, among Mark's many expressive creations are his colorfully awkward perspectives and eager creatures of ink, which do not come alive at night, but do show themselves quite nicely reproduced in nationally distributed publications such as Newsweek, The American Conservative, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated for Kids and Weekly Reader.

In 2002, the National Cartoonists Society honored Mr. Brewer with a Best Magazine Illustration Award at the Rueben Awards in Cancun, Mexico.
