Katie Koenig completed commissioned paintings, drawings, and murals for years before graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration. Her work is considered to be editorial, advertising, and narrative, with illustrations completed for magazines, posters, and books.

Katie’s images express a unique style achieved through the application of traditional and digital media. Her use of acrylic paints as well as visual and tactile textures enhance the conceptual themes of her illustrations. She strives to walk the line between realism and surrealism, with the intent of creating impactful work that invokes reflection from her audience.
